Alumni Directory

1689 Names Total

One of these days
I'm going to sit down and write a long letter
To all the good friends I've known
And I'm going to try
To thank them all for the good times together
Though so apart
We've grown

from Neil Young "One of These Days" © 1987 Silver Fiddle Music (Harvest Moon CD)

Registering

Registering for this site will automatically add your name to your class list and appear in the Alumni Directory. An email address is required. This will allow others to contact you via a contact form, which will send an email to the email address you register with. Presently, it is an open system with no restrictions on who may contact you. Much work has gone into making this difficult to be abused by spammers, and none has been detected. If any abuse occurs, we have the option to close this to anyone not registered at waynealumni.org. For more information, read the Directory News and Info, Information, and Privacy sections below. Answers to other possible questions are located on the FAQ page.

Directory News and Info

As much as people change email addresses these days, some of the email addresses here are likely no longer valid. There is no easy way for us to know which are out of date. Please remember to update us if you change your email.

You can now update your own listing in real time. See the FAQ for more information on how.

No longer are E-Mail addresses included in an email link and encoded in the html page. This was vulnerable to spammers and was not convenient for users of web based email. Now, when you click on a name of a classmate you which to contact, a new page appears with a form that is used instead of email. When you click the send button, it will send the contents of the form to the intended recipient. It may not be spam-proof, but it goes along way towards that end.

Information

To add your name to the directory, click the Add Me item in the navigation list.

If you want to put a photo of yourself or family, there is now a place in the e-mail directories where that can be done. Send me the photo via e-mail (I would recommend .jpg or .gif format), but I will take whatever you might have. I also have a scanner, so if you have doubles of something and want to send it to me, that is OK. Email me at bdonova1@rochester.rr.com . If you want to see one, look for the camera icon photo in the 60's, 70's or 80's e-mail page.

Names are in alphabetical order by class, using the name you were known by in school.  Married names are shown in parenthesis.

If your listing has errors (like typos), let me know and I will correct it.

Privacy

Most people are concerned about privacy on the net.  There is no advertising here and information is not passed on. Though email addresses are now hidden in the Email Directory, it is best to have two e-mail addresses, one public and one private. Keep your private one for friends and family and a public one for lists like these, and when registering for various websites. Get a free e-mail from places like Google, Yahoo, Netscape, Hotmail, etc. If you end up on a spammers list, change your public e-mail.
