Lynne Loomis-Price
Loomis-Price, Lynne S. age 51 of Teaneck formerly of Ontario, NY died on Monday, August 15, 2011. Beloved wife of Anthony Price. Devoted mother of Meredith, Alison, and Sam Price. Loving daughter of Norman and Jinny Loomis. Dear sister of Jane Smith and Richard Loomis. Lynne was the Associate Director of Academic Programs at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. A dedicated volunteer, Lynne spent two years in Sierra Leone as a member of the Peace Corps. She spent many more years campaigning for the people both in Sierra Leone and throughout the third world for whom she cared so much. Lynne also spent many years as a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and was always ready to lend a hand wherever she might be needed. Family and friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, August 19 from 6-8PM at the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Rd., Teaneck, NJ. A memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday at 10AM at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Teaneck. In lieu of flowers donations in her name to the International Rescue Committee, P.O.
