Age 29. Predeceased by her grandfather, Gerald Abbott. Survived by her parents, John and Donna Abbott; sisters, Rachel, Michelle, and Stacy; grandparents, Robert and Louise Azzano and Shirley Abbott; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Erica was originally from upstate New York and resided in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn where she lived with her dog, Banjo. A talented professional modern dancer, she was also known for her eye for fashion and incredible cooking. She passionately studied Buddhism at the Asian Classics Institute and the Sarva Yoga Academy and was actively involved in her community. Those who knew her regarded her for her loving spirit and referred to her as their "shining light." Erica's tragic death was a result of a bicycle accident near her Brooklyn home. Our beautiful Erica will be missed by all.
Calling Tuesday 3-8 PM at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Nine Mile Pt. Rd., Webster (Route 250). A service will be held after calling at 8 PM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to 108 Lives Project in care of The Three Jewels, 61 Fourth Avenue, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10003.
