Lena was born on June 13, 1957 in Clifton Springs, NY. Lena was an LPN and had worked over thirty years in the health care industry. Lena was predeceased by her father David Payne. She is survived by her husband, Russell "Rus" Whipple; mother, Nancy Payne; children, Kristi (Jason) Tierson and Timothy (Sarah) Tripp; siblings, Lori Jackson, Lesa (Eric) McKee, and David (Nancy) Payne; grandchildren, Bradlee, Connor and Ava Grace; mother and father-in-law, Pat and William Conlin. There will be no prior calling. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Lena's life on Monday, November 25, 2013 at 1PM at the Walworth Second Baptist Church, 3689 Main Street, Walworth, NY 14568. Private interment in Marion Cemetery. Memorials in memory of Lena may be made to Hope Lodge of Rochester, 1120 South Goodman Street, Rochester, NY 14620, or the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Rochester, NY, 333 Westmoreland Drive, Rochester, NY 14620.
