Don was predeceased by his parents Oscar and Geneieve Urbanik VerStraete. He is survived by his son Timothy VerStraete, grandchildren Ashley, Danielle, and Matthew; four great grandchildren; sisters Jane Humphries, Shirley (Tom) Mizelle, Irene (Bill) Morrison, and Beverly (Ken) Dippel; several nephews, nieces, one aunt, and cousins. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday October 17th from 4-7 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street in Sodus. A celebration of Donald's life will be held Saturday, October 18th beginning at 1 p.m. from the Wolcott American Legion Post #881 on Ridge Road.
