Clifton Springs, Leila Kier age 75, died on Friday April 26, 2024 at the Laurel House in Newark. Friends may call on Monday (May 6) from 4-6pm at the Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps. Burial will be held on Tuesday (May 7) 10am at Riverview Cemetery in Clifton Springs. Leila was born on September 27, 1948 in Rochester, NY. She is survived by three daughters: Tina Kier of Nashville, Kimberly (Jason) Jansen of Phelps, Brandy (Ruben) Collett of Clifton Springs Five Grandchildren: Samantha, Benjamin, Nathaniel, Corey and Chloe Nine siblings: Lisa (Jane) Spencer, Scott (Brenda) Spencer, Mark (Karen) Spencer, Ronald (Karen) Spencer, Terry Spencer, Steven (Pat) Spencer, Eric (Kristi) Spencer, Amy Spencer. Many nieces, nephews and extended family. She is predeceased by her devoted husband, Reid Kier, of 52 years and brother Ronald Spencer. Leila was a loving mother and wife. She loved her family and enjoyed family gatherings. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards and crafting. Leila greatly enjoyed her time spent with her husband and friends in Vine Valley on Canandaigua Lake and at Bayside Waters in Clearwater Florida. She will be missed by many. It is requested that memorial donations be made to the Laurel House 224 Fair Street Newark, NY 14513.
